Check out my line of wireless inspection robots. They are rugged, 4 wheeled vehicles with a wireless pan tilt cameras on board. The video and audio is sent via wireless connection to the operator who can be in a completely different location. I have been using Lynxmotion parts to help build this startup business. Although, after looking at what you guys have done, I can hardly consider these robots.

Did you make the chassis parts yourself? or is it from a kit RC?

Mike,
Thanks for your interest!
For the vehicle, I start with an electric vehicle kit, then I replace 80-90 % of the parts with either aluminum aftermarket upgrades or custom made parts, to get the look/performance I am after. For the video, I source parts from various sources including security camera companies, battery distributors, hobby wireless transmitters etc. I have a small shop so I can design various parts in a 3D CAD program, and then go downstairs and make it from aluminum, plastic, or whatever. I vacuum formed the shell on the Delta Unit from Black ABS to give it a menacing "look". I am planning on producing these in quantity, so I need to find the lowest cost on all my parts, and still have a quality product.
