I will need to reschedule the downtime as there were some issues with permissions during the upgrade. I would like to get this wrapped up in short order so that we can move on to the next step. I will need to speak with the hosting company to resolve this. I will update you as soon as I know when the new downtime and thus of course the upgrade can occur.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks,
-Paul

Well, if what I just saw was a test of the new PhP (?) system, I don't think I like all the stuff you may have to do to use it. I hope I'm wrong. Not everybody is an SQL expert.

You were on during the downtime window. Things won't always be pretty in that case.

I think I saw the same thing about running an install program and agreeing to some liscense agreement. I hope that is for the admins and such as I think I'll pass on installing software on my computer.

What you saw was for me. All of that was for the server side. I was not expecting anyone to be on during the upgrade window. Because the server is hosted by someone else I did not have the luxury of migrating using a second virtual server. If I had that as a possibility no maintenance window would be required.

The new forum will look much like the current one only with way more features. The only requirements will be that you have a modern web browser and an internet connection. No special software, licensing or downloads.

Thanks
-Paul
