Lynxmotion Tech Support

Hi,

Has anyone ever disarmed the Lynx 5 robotic arm? Is it Easy? because the nylon snap rivet fasteners seem to be hard to be removed. Is there a friendly to do it? I really don't want to disarm it and damaged it all so I have to buy a new one.

by disarmed do you mean dis-assemble?

the snap rivets can be pressed back out, usually the easiest way is with the flat of a small screwdriver pressing the tit on the backside until the front side pops up enough to grab it with pliers. you can re-use them although they do eventually take a set and will not be as strong as a new one is. they are cheap enough to replace and usually several extras are packed with anything purchased from lynxmotion that uses them.
