im having issues about getting my bot board to communicate with my pc programs can connect to the board and the scc-32 works with pc but not the bot board. im using serial to usb to connect to my laptop win7 ((sp1) 32 bit).

also my bot board is making a churping noice that will stop when i try to connect to bot board thin start and i get erroer's

What IDE are you using?

The timing for programming an Atom is more demanding than sending commands to the SSC-32. If there are any issues with the comm system it will show up when programming an Atom. We have a thread that covers all sorts of comm issues.

You mention you are using a USB to serial cable, but who makes it? What brand and model number?

basic micro atom ide 02.2.1.1

and trying basic micro studio 2.0.0.15

the cable is a genaric brad for bustbuy like 20$ there is no model info or code ....

I suggest getting the tested cables, like the one LM carries.

Once you have a solid, working base to start from, you can test other brands/models.

but the adapter works whit the ssc-32 when setting all the servos to 1500
