**Concerning the Tri-Track Chassis Combo for RC And Tri-Track Chassis Combo for PS2
1.What is the Range Of the PS2 controller and the RC ?
2.I wanted to know if it Can walk on sandy surfaces ?
3.And if You can provide me With a Drawing for its Design ?
4.Another Question " Is the Lynxmotion 12.0 Volt Ni-MH 2800mAh Battery Pack A good Battery that can drive the Robot ? And for how Many Minutes ? And how can i charge the Batteries ?
5.For the Tri-Track Chassis Combo for PS2, It contains a Bot Board II So can it be changed by a BotBoarduino and how much will it cost if so ? And if not ! Can i connect it to an Arduino Duemilanove ?

Less than 30 feet.

Wet beach sand, or fine dust desert sand?

We do not have dimensioned drawings for this kit.

These are good batteries for the 4WD rover. I do not know how long it will operate on a charge.

Hamawii

Buy the no electronics version and buy the Botboarduino with it.

Yeah I'm not sure about the fine silt type of sand. It might handle it fine, but I just don't know.

Any 12vdc battery will power the rover.

What is the difference if The robot was operated by Arduino Duemilanove Not BotBoarduino ?
Would it be a problem ? Does the BotBoarduino Have something extra than the Arduino Duemilanove ?

The Botboarduino has a lot of extras. It mounts to our robots, but it retains the Arduino shield mounting. It's much better than the Duemilove for robotics. It has a built in user interface, LED's, buttons, and a speaker. You can plug servos and sensors into the I/O buss directly. Screw terminals for power for servos or logic separated. Go look at the product. It's not your average Arduino. But there's no reason any Arduino couldn't be used.

When I used the Arduino for a 'bot (Table Top Competition 2012, Gold Medal), I had to use both a prototype board (shield) and a specially designed "breakout" board for all the servo/sensor connections I need.

I don't have mine yet (hint hint), but the Botboarduino will supply ALL of these, plus a few things more!

P.S. Maybe I'll win one!

EDIT 6:00 PM, I won!

As I told you in email. This part is cut in-house with our lasers. We do not have a dimensioned drawing for that part.
