Anyone have experience controlling a servo power gearbox (I got mine at ServoCity) with the SEQ? Specifically I am concerned that the SEQ controls the servo itself, but the gearing moves the servo arm beyond physical limits. I have a model SPG7955A standard rotation (180 degrees total) on the output shaft. The servo used in the gearbox is a Hitec HS-7955TG. I am hoping that if I set the center postion, and the upper and lower limits of the servo itself with the SEQ, that will correspond with the geared output. But I would like to know before I potentially destroy a $175.00 servo gearbox.

If this is a servo that the internal pot has been swapped to one on the final gear, then the servo board still limits the range of the output to what the pot can achieve. SEQ will dutifully limit the range of pulses to accommodate any servo, modified or otherwise. This style servo should not require any such limitations.
